The new Welch Allyn Kleenspec Cordless Illumination System is a welcome advance in women’s health. Used as an LED light source for the KleenSpec Disposable Vaginal Speculum , it provides bright, white illumination during exams, with less heat than traditional light sources. The convenient cordless design facilitates exams and gives the healthcare provider greater maneuverability. In addition, clean up is easier with no cords getting dirty during exams.
After use, simply return the light source to the charging station. The Welch Allyn Kleenspec Cordless Illumination System can provide 80 minutes of light, and will fully recharge in 6 hours. There is no need to bother with an on/off switch, because the illuminator will automatically light up when it is inserted into the KleenSpec Disposable Vaginal Speculum and turn off when it is removed.
