The Summit Doppler Vista AVS L500VA Advanced ABI/ Vascular system is an innovative diagnostic tool that makes identifying peripheral arterial disease (PAD) faster and easier. In addition, this is the first ankle-brachial index (ABI) system that is capable of performing seated ABIs for patients with limited mobility. Seated ABIs allow you to perform exams for patients who were previously unable to benefit from this important diagnostic test. Many patients cannot get into the supine position on an exam table that is required for other ABIs. However, with the Vista AVS, even patients who are confined to wheelchairs, suffer from severe back pain, or have other limiting conditions can have a seated ABI easily and comfortably.
