Splints

An industry standard in traction splinting. Developed over 30 years ago, the Hare Traction Splint is the original traction splinting appliance. The unique design effectively realigns a fractured femur with less pain for the patient while restoring perfusion to an injured leg. Application is fast and easy with the one-piece design. Made of a lightweight telescoping tubular aluminum frame, the Hare Traction Splint features a ratchet traction device, "S" ring hook, heel stand and locking release pull ring, collet locking device, 4 leg support straps, ischial strap and pad, adjustable ankle strap, carrying case and instructions.

• Padded board splints are made of 1/2 x 3" solid wood
• Orange vinyl covered splints have 1/2" foam on one side

Alumafoam frog splints may be used to protect injury site without restricting movement in non-injured fingers.

The mesh wire splint is a lightweight pocket sized solution for the temporary setting of fractures, these versatile wire splints easily conform to any angle of injury and provide maximum immobilization when formed by rounding or bending, vinyl coating reduces abrasiveness while adding to the rigidity of the splint also making it waterproof. Can be disinfected and reused.
