The HeartStart FRx Trainer is the ideal tool to help students gain proficiency in using the HeartStart FRx defibrillator. The HeartStart FRx Trainer provides clear voice instructions, identical to the HeartStart FRx defibrillator. Students can practice their skills using pre-configured rescue scenarios. Students can also practice pediatric defibrillation using the Infant/Child Key. In addition, the HeartStart FRx Trainer offers training in adult and pediatric CPR with CPR coaching. The instructor can vary the difficulty level of training scenarios by using internal and external pads adapters and providing some or no clues about correct pad placement. The trainer uses four inexpensive AA batteries (not included). The HeartStart FRx Trainer includes a nylon carry case, one set of reusable adult training pads, and one external manikin adapter strip.
