The passive safety technology prevents injuries that happen with other catheters when users don’t initiate active safety features. The Introcan Safety IV Catheter’s safety clip is activated automatically and cannot be bypassed.

The Introcan Safety® Universal Bevel causes less patient discomfort than a traditional lancet cut, and also gives you the flexibility of a wide range of insertion angles. One-handed catheter insertion is easier with the Push-Off Plate. A locking bevel indicator improves the stability of catheter advancement and marks the bevel-up orientation. You have the option of attaching a syringe to the catheter’s removable flashplug. The Introcan Safety IV Catheter is made of FEP polymer. It is DEHP-free and latex-free so it is safe for all patient populations. 14G x 1-1/4.
