The OSOM Trichomonas Rapid Test provides fast, reliable detection of Trichomonas
Vaginalis without requiring extensive training or extra lab personnel. This
assay is easily run with only one reagent and a dipstick, and it will detect
antigen even if no live organism is present. Easy-to-read, two color results are ready in ten minutes. The test is highly accurate with a 95%
agreement with combined culture and wet mount tests, and it will not be
affected by the presence of other common infections. Tests may be stored for a
full 16 months at room temperature. 25 tests are included in each box. OSOM
provides the only CLIA waived rapid Trichomonas test available.
