The Grafco Hematocrit Centrifuge is intended to provide laboratory tests for hematocrit values (HCT) in the fields of biochemistry, microbic immunity genetics, and blood separation, as well as general clinic tests.

The Grafco Hematocrit Centrifuge features a digital timer (up to 99 minutes), fixed speed, brake control, and a reading scale. This unit spins loads at a fixed speed of 12,000 RPM and includes a thermostat to regulate temperature. It can hold up to 24 capillary tubes of size 1.2mm (or 1.5mm) x 75mm.

QBC AccuTubes are for use with the QBC Autoread Plus. 70 µl. sample size. Both capillary & venous (using QBC pipetter) blood can be used with this tube. Features a pre-inserted, ventilated stopper. Floats are externally contained in the AccuTube packaging within soft grip holders. Slide the AccuTube through the soft grip holder, and the float will be inserted. Anticoagulant included in tube.

The Wallach Endocell offers simplicity, safety and economy to the screening process for endometrial carcinoma and precancerous conditions. Using manual suction, it extracts a histological sample from the uterine mucosal lining in seconds. It is also an excellent monitor for the effects of hormonal therapy and a valuable diagnostic tool for fertility problems and uterine pathogens. It can be utilized for endometrial biopsy, suction type and menstrual extraction.

Precision Components

Dispette 2 components are known for quality, an important factor linked to test outcomes. High precision polystyrene tubes, sourced from Switzerland, ensure a minimum internal bore of 2.55mm to prevent “cell bouncing” or the impedance of proper cell sedimentation. The precise reproducibility of the tube also helps to avoid variances in physical handling.

Protective Aerosol Barrier

The “triple plug” tip design provides a unique protection barrier from accidental over-filling of the pipette tube and spillage of blood.

Superior Reservoir Interface

The pierceable reservoir cap provides greater tactile feedback during pipette insertion. A “sealing” ring molded into the reservoir below the fill line ensures correct filling when inserted into the reservoir and also helps to prevent leaks. The restricted end of the reservoir acts as an extra safety feature by indicating the pipette tube is at its correct position.

Provides accurate reproducible readings. Anticoagulant tubes with ammonium heparin. Fire polished tips are easily sealed by flame, clay or patented caps. Tubes are color coded for easy identification: red for heparinized and blue for plain tubes. Length: 75 mm. 100 tubes/vial.

Taxo A discs are for the presumptive identification of group A beta-hemolytic streptococci based on susceptibility to a low level of bacitracin. Discs are intended for use with pure cultures. Taxo A discs are not for use directly with clinical specimens or other sources containing mixed flora. The organism to be presumptively identified must first be isolated as separate colonies by streaking the specimen onto appropriate culture media; e.g., Trypticase Soy Agar with 5% Sheep Blood (TSA II). However, the BBLGroup A Selective Strep Agar with 5% Sheep Blood (ssA) plate, which may be used for the primary isolation of group A streptococci from throat specimens, was designed specifically for use with the Taxo A disc.

Taxo A discs are impregnated with a low level of bacitracin. According to the work of Maxted, of Levinson and Frank, and others, the group A streptococci may be differentiated from the other Lancefield groups of hemolytic streptococci by the formation of a zone of inhibition around the disc.

Group A beta-hemolytic streptococci are sensitive to small amounts of bacitracin, while betahemolytic streptococci of other serologic groups are more resistant. The Taxo A disc on a blood agar plate can be used for presumptive identification of group A beta-hemolytic streptococci after overnight incubation.
