These BD 367861 Lavender Top Vacutainer® Plus Plastic Plasma Tubes provide a safe, efficient method for handling blood specimens. The BD Hemogard™ closure prevents the tube of blood from splattering when it is opened, and it also prevents staff from accidentally coming into contact with blood on the stopper or outer rim of the tube. These 13 x 75 mm x 4.0 mL whole blood tubes are sterile and have a paper label. They contain a spray dried additive of K2EDTA, 7.2mg (100/sp, 1000/ca) to prevent clotting.
