Philips Infant/Child SMART Pads Cartridge, HS1

Be prepared to administer defibrillation to children with the Philips Infant/Child SMART Pads Cartridge. When used with the Philips HeartStart HS1 OnSite AED, the pads signal the AED to reduce the energy level of the shock to a level that is safe for children and infants. The Philips Infant/Child SMART Pads are clearly labeled for pediatric use with a weight limit and a picture of a teddy bear. The pediatric pads should be used for all children under the age of 8 years or who weigh less than 55 pounds. They are disposable and have a minimum shelf life of two years.
