The easy-to-use FR2 AED Pediatric Pads help rescuers provide defibrillation to infants and children quickly and effectively. The pads reduce the energy level of the shock provided by the AED to a level that is safe for children. The FR2+ AED will analyze the child’s heart rhythm to determine if a shock is needed. To help rescuers, these pediatric pads are clearly designated for use with children with text, pictures, and a pink teddy bear-shaped pad connector. The FR2 AED Pediatric Pads should be used for all children under the age of 8 years or who weigh less than 55 pounds. They are compatible with the Philips HeartStart FR2+ AED. The disposable pads have a minimum shelf life of 24 months after the date of manufacture.
